Broccoli Inexperienced, Beet Inexperienced and Mushroom Sauté

Components:
1/2 cup bread crumbs or matzo meal, toasted
1 bunch broccoli greens, chopped
1 bunch beet greens, chopped
stems from 1 bunch beet greens, diced
8 oz sliced crimini mushrooms
1 shallot, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt
freshly floor black pepper

Instructions:
Warmth the oil in a medium skillet. Add the shallot, stems, mushrooms and garlic and saute till the shallot and mushrooms have oftened. Add the greens saute till the greens have wilted. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Serve instantly.

My ideas:

Broccoli farmers should be fairly intelligent. First they shred the stumps that used to get tossed and bought them to us as “broccoli slaw”. Now they’re promoting us the leaves of the broccoli plant! Fortunately for us, broccoli leaves are tasty! They’re extra tender than kale or collards and have a light-weight broccoli taste. I recieved each broccoli leaves and beets with the greens hooked up on this week’s product field. I used to be excited as a result of I hadn’t had broccoli greens earlier than! I like beet greens too (and their delicous pink stems) so I assumed I’d do one thing that might deliver the 2 collectively. A easy sauteed aspect dish appeared excellent.
